DVD Recorder Instructions
To Make your RH*** Multi Region Please follow these steps.
Option 1
1. Open door tray
- Press "Open" key on RCU
or
- Insert an alternate Region DVD disc
2. Press "Zero (0)" key on Remote control 7 times (0-0-0-0-0-0-0)
Option 2
1. Press "Set Up" key on Remote Control
2. Move cursor to "Lock" icon using down arrow on Remote Control
3. Press "Zero(0)" key on Remote Control 7 times (0-0-0-0-0-0-0)
Option 3
1. Download File
2. EXTRACT the files that are inside the .ZIP file
3. Use your CD Creating Software to Create a CD (Nero, Toast etc..)
4. Name the CD CODEFREE
5. The CD must be laid out with the following Folder and File Structure
RMTM0000
SCARLET
KPJC19_1.DVD
6. Create the CD
7. Insert the CD into the DVD Recorder
8. Select "0" as Region Free
9. RESTART the Player to complete the procedure
If none of these Options work for you your Recorder may need a firmware update. Get it
